On registation

Call me naive but living in Canada, I'm most preplexed by the necessity or the degree of difficulty for people to have the opportunity to vote in the US, the "world's largest democracy." It seems so much easier in Canada to do so.

It sure has been a while since I last blogged. Like 8 months. Anyway, reading TPM about the latest decision by the Bush DOJ to start investigating ACORN, I thought of a decision in the election campaign from two elections ago in Canada where the RCMP got involved. Apparently, the manual for the DOJ advises against initiating prosecutions before an election. Well...
